Registration is underway for a safe-boating course scheduled for Saturday, July 13, at the Fairfield Fire Training building. The course is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the 205 One Rod Highway facility and is offered by the Penfield Sail and Power Squadron.
Successful completion of the class qualifies an individual for a Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate and Personal Water Craft Certificate. Cost is $30; registration closes on Tuesday, July 9.
